Chief Executive Officer

 Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define and execute the bank’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with the Board’s objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities for growth, expansion, and innovation.
  • Lead digital transformation and technology adoption to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the bank in industry forums, media, and community engagements to build brand reputation and stakeholder trust.

Financial Performance & Risk Management

  • Ensure the bank meets or exceeds financial targets including profitability, asset quality, capital adequacy, and liquidity.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Maintain a strong risk management framework in compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., FDIC, OCC, Federal Reserve).
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends and adjust strategy to mitigate financial, operational, and reputational risks.

Governance & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable banking laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Work closely with the Board, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer to maintain a robust compliance culture.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the Board on performance, strategy, risks, and key initiatives.

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top executive talent across all divisions (Retail, Commercial, Operations, Technology, Risk, HR, Marketing, etc.).
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and ethical organizational culture.
  • Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and leadership development programs.

Stakeholder & Community Relations

  • Serve as the public face of the bank to shareholders, regulators, customers, employees, and the community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, government entities, and civic organizations.
  • Champion corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community reinvestment initiatives.

 


Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).Advanced executive education or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) a plus.
