- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals and product innovation initiatives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with product design, production, and logistics teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Analyze market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities to support product development and expansion.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to achieve departmental objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Resolve supply chain issues, manage risks, and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within manufacturing or consumer goods.Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and contract management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Experience with ERP or procurement management systems.Solid understanding of sourcing, inventory management, and logistics processes.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
