- Prepare and develop electrical shop drawings (power, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, ELV/ICT, and low current systems) using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate electrical layouts with architectural, structural, and mechanical trades in BIM environment.
- Ensure drawings reflect accurate details such as cable routing, conduit/tray sizes, panel schedules, and equipment connections.
- Assist in producing clash detection reports and resolving coordination issues.
- Review and update shop drawings based on consultant/contractor comments and site conditions.
- Support in preparing as-built drawings and updating models with redline markups.
- Generate schedules, legends, and reports (e.g., cable schedules, lighting fixture schedules) directly from Revit models.
- Maintain compliance with project specifications, international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA), and client requirements.
- Collaborate with the BIM team to ensure models are accurate, updated, and properly managed.
- Support senior engineers in design verification, technical submissions, and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the construction or building industry.Familiarity with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.Basic understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Willingness to travel to project sites as required.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
