- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.
- Ensure compliance with local labor law, environmental regulations, and international HSE standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA).
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective/preventive actions are taken.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for staff, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Lead emergency preparedness and response drills (fire, evacuation, first aid).
- Monitor and report on environmental aspects, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure safe execution of construction activities.
- Maintain and update HSE records, documentation, and performance reports.
- Mentor junior HSE officers and support continuous improvement in safety culture.
Education & Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, , or equivalent) are mandatory.Experience:6–8 years of experience in HSE roles, with at least 3 years in civil construction projects (infrastructure, roads, bridges, or buildings).Proven track record in implementing HSE systems and managing compliance on large-scale projects
