- Prepare, review, and coordinate detailed electrical shop drawings and technical submittals in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall project designs.
- Conduct technical evaluations of materials, equipment, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site teams during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications to identify project requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including progress reports, as-built drawings, and project correspondence.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of electrical materials and equipment.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives to enhance project efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
- Support the continuous improvement of technical office processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 4 years and up to 7 years of relevant experience in electrical technical office roles within the engineering or construction industry.Proven experience in preparing and reviewing electrical shop drawings and technical submittals.Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.Excellent organizational and documentation skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.Willingness to work onsite as required by project demands.
