- Lead the design, coordination, Mechanical systems for MEP projects, including HVAC, firefighting and Plumbing.
- Collaborate closely with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of Mechanical systems within overall building designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Oversee the development and review of Mechanical designs, calculations, load analyses, and equipment specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of design documents to identify potential conflicts, deviations, and constructability challenges. Propose effective solutions to address these issues.
- Participate in project meetings, client presentations, and coordination discussions to communicate design concepts, progress updates, and technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to review and select Mechanical equipment and components that align with project specifications and budget constraints.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, regulations, and emerging technologies related to Mechanical systems, smart solutions, and energy efficiency.
- Conduct on-site inspections and field visits to monitor the installation and performance of Mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design intent and quality standards.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposal preparation, technical presentations, and client interactions that showcase the company's expertise and capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on MEP systems.Proficiency in relevant design software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc.).Strong knowledge of Mechanical codes, standards, and regulations.
