- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for electromechanical and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular cost reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
- Manage change orders, variations, and claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project delivery and cost control.
- Review and validate contractor invoices and payment applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms.
- Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, ensuring all commercial and technical aspects are addressed.
- Identify potential risks related to cost, contracts, or project scope and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all quantity surveying activities and support project close-out processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Experience in Infrastructure is a must.2 to 5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying within the Construction and Infrastructure industry.Strong knowledge of electromechanical and infrastructure project requirements.Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite.Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.Solid understanding of construction contracts, tendering, and procurement processes.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
