- Manage and coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials and supplies from local and international suppliers.
- Monitor delivery schedules, customs clearance, and transport documentation to ensure timely arrivals.
- Supervise unloading, inspection, and storage of inbound goods in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure accurate inventory recording and reconciliation using ERP/WMS systems.
Lead, train, and motivate logistics team members. - Set daily/weekly priorities and allocate resources to meet production demands.
Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and succession planning. - Act as the primary point of contact for inbound logistics partners and suppliers/courriers.
- Expert in costumes & taxes regulations and techniques related to import & export.
- Negotiate freight contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and resolve delivery issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when needed.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce lead times, costs, and waste. - Ensure compliance with safety, Security, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting.
- Work closely with procurement, production planning, and quality control teams to align inbound logistics with manufacturing schedules.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to forecast material needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.7+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or account management capacity.Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in glass, ceramics, or heavy industry.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), WMS, and Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of international shipping, incoterms, customs, and import regulations.
