We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Team Leader to lead our sales efforts and drive growth in our global SMS solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tech sales, a deep understanding of SMS and telecom services, and a passion for building relationships with clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who can execute both at a high level and on the ground, with an understanding of direct operator connections and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting enterprise clients, resellers, and other strategic partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales campaigns for A2P, bulk SMS, HLR lookup, and SMS reseller services.
- Establish goals, KPIs, and sales targets aligned with company objectives, ensuring consistent achievement and growth.
2- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored messaging solutions.
- Regularly meet with clients to review account performance, address challenges, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
3- Market Analysis and Business Development:
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offers, and new market opportunities.
- Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and segments, increasing our presence in regions with high messaging demand.
- Collaborate with product teams to align client feedback and evolve our solutions according to market demands.
4- Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with the marketing, customer support, and product teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members, sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth.
- Report regularly to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.
5- Contract Negotiation and Account Management:
- Lead contract negotiations and manage pricing, ensuring profitability while meeting client requirements.
- Oversee account management, ensuring high retention and satisfaction rates among existing clients.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus- 7+ years in sales, with a focus on B2B technology or telecommunications services; experience in the SMS, messaging, or telecom industry is highly desirable.Skills:- Strong knowledge of global SMS services, including A2P SMS, bulk messaging, and HLR lookup; familiarity with direct operator connections is a plus.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and partners.- Ability to analyze market data and sales metrics to drive informed decision making.- Results-oriented with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
