What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role means ensuring merchants are accurately coded, efficiently onboarded, and properly supported throughout the settlement process. A successful team lead will drive smooth end-to-end onboarding, maintain accurate merchant data, proactively follow up on settlement issues, and collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless merchant experience while meeting performance and compliance standards.
Job Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.• 3 years of professional experience Merchant Services, Field Sales, or Merchant Onboarding or a similar role, including at least 1 year in a team leading position.• Good understanding of merchant systems and onboarding processes.• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and guide team members to achieve performance targets.• Able to delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure high standards of accuracy in merchant data collection and entry.• Skilled in resolving complex onboarding issues and ensuring high merchant satisfaction.• Ensures compliance with privacy and data security standards in all merchant interactions.• Tracks and reports team performance metrics, identifies gaps, and implements process improvements as needed.• Works cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Support teams to ensure smooth onboarding flow.
