Export Sales Manager

  • Develop and implement comprehensive export sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets across assigned international regions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new distributors, agents, and key accounts in target export markets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the export sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to analyse trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in international markets.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with overseas clients and partners, ensuring compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.
  • Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Monitor and manage export documentation, shipping processes, and compliance with relevant export laws and regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance export sales processes, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in export sales, preferably within the paints, coatings, or chemicals industry.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding export sales targets in international markets.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors, agents, and key clients.Analytical mindset with strong market research and strategic planning skills.Willingness to travel internationally as required.Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
