- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance, grounds, and skilled trades staff.
- Plan and prioritize daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules and projects.
- Inspect university facilities regularly to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for repairs, renovations, and equipment servicing.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and university policies.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, inventory, and budget usage.
- Assist in developing preventive maintenance plans and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Train, evaluate, and discipline staff in collaboration with HR as needed.
- Assist in preparing and managing operational budgets of supplies.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction, or a related field (preferred).6–5 years of experience in facilities operations or maintenance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.Experience in an educational institutional environment is a plus.
