Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a professional Talent Acquisition Specialist with proven experience in:

  • Actively sourcing and identifying top candidates through LinkedIn, professional recruitment groups, and various job platforms.
  • Skilled “talent hunting” particularly for engineering and technical positions.
  • Recruiting site engineers in various specialties (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.) for energy, oil & gas, and petrochemical projects.
  • Sourcing and hiring remote software professionals (Software Developers, Designers, and Support Engineers) for opportunities in the Gulf market.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates using job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate technical assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent to OYA ENERGY.
  • Organize and participate in virtual and in-person career events and job fairs.
  • Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms, and manage onboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal recruitment policies.

 1–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related HR function. preferably within the energy or tech sectors.Strong command of advanced LinkedIn sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus).Solid understanding of technical job requirements in engineering and software fields.Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and candidate assessment methods.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with candidates and stakeholders.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
