Purchasing Specialist

  • Source and evaluate new suppliers and products based on business needs.
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
  • Maintain and regularly update the supplier database and price lists.
  • Support negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor supplier performance and flag any issues with lead time, pricing, or quality.
  • Resolve purchase-related discrepancies (e.g., delays, quality concerns, mismatched invoices).
  • Coordinate with inventory, finance, sales, and operations to align purchasing with demand.
  • Track stock levels to avoid overstocking or stock outs.
  • Prepare purchasing reports, cost breakdowns, and spend analysis when needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.3–6 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, FMCG, e-commerce, or supply chain.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic analysis).Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Self-motivated and proactive with a collaborative attitude.
