Travel Advisor

  • Promote and sell a wide range of tours, excursions, transportation and travel packages including cultural, adventure, luxury, and customized experiences.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, providing detailed information about itineraries, modes of transportations, pricing, availability, and terms.
  • Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travelers.
  • Book transportation, make tours reservations and collect payment/fees.
  • Create and deliver compelling proposals and itineraries tailored to client needs.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of tours.
  • Keep up-to-date with tourism trends, competitor offerings, and new attractions across the U.A.E and any other destination belong to OceanAir.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Participate in trade shows, travel expos, seminars and networking events to promote the company’s services.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and generate regular reports for management.
  • Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
  • Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds.
  • Enter data into our software and maintain client files.
  • Network with tour operators.
  • Maintain statistical and financial records.
  • Meet profit and sales targets.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the tourism industry, preferably in sales or client-facing roles.Demonstrated sales experience or a strong aptitude for selling travel-related products and services.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Ability to extract, interpret, and analyze performance-related data and sales reports.Self-motivated with the ability to identify, generate, and follow up on new leads independently.Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (such as Spanish, Italian, or Chinese) are considered an asset.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Experience with CRM platforms and maintaining accurate client records.Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays as necessary.Strong work ethic with a proactive and goal-oriented mindset.Collaborative team player with a positive and adaptable approach.
