We are hiring a Site Engineer to join our team for installation and maintenance of medium voltage equipment. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in a similar field, with a strong background in handling equipment such as distributors, RMUs, and oil/dry-type transformers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of MV equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for MV switchgear, RMUs, and transformers.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and single-line diagrams.
- Ensure site safety compliance and adherence to electrical codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare site reports and documentation for maintenance and installation activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site-level technical issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.2–3 years of hands-on experience in medium voltage systems.Knowledge of MV equipment (12kV/24kV), protection systems, and cable terminations.Familiarity with major brands such asEl Sewedy, Schneider, Siemens, or ABB is a plus.Male candidates preferred due to frequent site work and travel.Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.Ability to work under pressure and in field conditions.Military status: Exempted or Completed.Driver’s license is a plus.
