- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial management and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best accounting practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
