• Supervise and lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, etc.).
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure timely filing of taxes and other statutory requirements.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting entries.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, tax advisors, banks).
• Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Train and develop junior accounting staff.
• Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus).• Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior role.• Industry Background Experience specifically in Carbonated Soft Drinks or FMCG in general.• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS).• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel.• Familiarity with tax laws and statutory compliance in Egypt (or relevant country).• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.• Good communication skills (Arabic and English).• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
