Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Sheraton, Cairo, Egypt, for a Sales Travel Agent. The Sales Travel Agent will be responsible for managing reservations, providing excellent customer service, suggest suitable travel packages, and close the sale — all while delivering a helpful and friendly experience. coordinating car rentals, organizing travel arrangements, and driving sales efforts. The candidate will engage with clients, manage bookings, and ensure a seamless travel experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound & outbound leads and reach out to potential customers through calls, messages, and emails.
Understand customers’ travel preferences, budgets, and requirements to recommend the best package.
Offer detailed information about destinations, hotels, flights, visa requirements, and travel policies.
Upsell add-ons such as insurance, tours, airport transfers, and special experiences.
Handle booking process end-to-end: from quote to final confirmation and after-sales support.
Follow up with undecided leads and maintain strong customer relationships.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets (e.g., bookings, conversion, revenue).
Accurately update CRM with lead status, booking information, and customer details.
Coordinate with operations and ticketing teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Resolve any booking issues or customer concerns with speed and professionalism.

Qualifications
Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus.
College degree in Tourism, Business, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in travel sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of travel industry products (flights, hotels, destinations).
Ability to multitask, handle objections, and work under pressure.
Proficient in using booking tools, GDS (e.g., Amadeus or Galileo), or CRM systems is a plus
