High experienced Electrical Engineer to support the electrical and automation systems in our high-speed FMCG production facility. He will have hands-on experience with Krones production lines, PLC programming, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
This role requires a strong understanding of automation, safety, and efficiency within an FMCG environment and will be reported to production manager.
Electrical engineer responsibilities
- Lead electrical maintenance and support activities on Krones production and packaging lines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation issues to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
- Develop and update electrical schematics and documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance, production, and quality teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Monitor and optimize energy usage across the plant’s electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and FMCG industry regulations (GMP, HACCP).
- Supervise, train and guide technicians on electrical best practices and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in energy audits and recommend cost-saving improvements.
- Support installation, commissioning, and retrofitting of Krones equipment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance schedules and equipment history.
Key skills and experience requiredBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in an FMCG manufacturing facility. Proven experience working with Krones machinery and automated bottling/packaging lines. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, VFDs, MCCs and industrial control systems. Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and factory safety protocols. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding of MES systems and integration with production lines.
