We're seeking a Part-Time Fashion Designer who is passionate about modest wear and youth culture to help us shape our first collections.

Role Overview

As a Part-Time Modest Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing capsule collections that reflect our brand values. You will work closely with the founder, production manager, and branding team to ensure your designs are practical for production, visually appealing, and culturally relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Design seasonal collections with a focus on modesty, elegance, and youth appeal
• Develop sketches, mood boards, tech packs, and specifications for sampling and production
• Translate market trends into creative, wearable concepts suitable for modest wear
• Work with the production team to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and ready for manufacturing
• Assist with fabric selection, trims, and finishing techniques aligned with modest fashion needs
• Revise and finalize designs based on sampling, fit feedback, and production constraints

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fashion design (modest wear experience strongly preferred)
• Strong portfolio showcasing modest fashion designs and garment construction knowledge
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator or similar design tools; pattern-making knowledge is a plus
• Deep understanding of modesty requirements (lengths, layering, necklines, fit, etc.)
• Passionate about youth fashion, cultural relevance, and expressive design
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote or flexible environment
