Export Sales Engineer

  • Research and identify potential international markets for steel prefab structures (e.g., warehouses, industrial buildings, commercial complexes).
  • Generate leads through trade shows, online platforms, and industry networks.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market trends to position the company effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, including contractors, builders, and engineering firms.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
  • Provide technical support and solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Prepare and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts in compliance with international trade regulations (Incoterms, payment terms).
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure project feasibility and timely delivery.
  • Resolve any post-sale issues related to delivery, documentation, or customer complaints.
  • Stay updated on international trade laws, tariffs, and export-import policies.
  • Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with major steel structureMinimum 5 years of experience in sales engineering role.Preferably to be in steel structures, construction materials or prefab engineering field.Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, communication and negotiation skills.Willing to travel internationally for business need.Handle exports to Africa, Europe, Asia, and Arab countries.Fluent in English and Fluent in French is a plus.
