We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to support our Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data entry within a finance or accounting environment, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP software. The role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to work under pressure while handling sensitive financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter financial and administrative data into accounting systems and databases.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date records of invoices, receipts, and financial transactions.
- Assist in reconciliations, monthly reports, and audit preparation.
- Ensure all entries are correct and comply with internal procedures and policies.
- Cross-check and verify data before input.
- Organize and archive accounting documents and files.
- Provide general support to the accounting team as needed.
Experience in data entry at least 6 months to 1 year, preferably within an accounting or finance department.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Experience using accounting systems or ERP software.Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity.Team player with good communication skills.
