  • The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for
  • Building and implementing the Sawa’s Target Operating Model and vision - under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer – by deploying the new and innovative insurance distribution model through Egypt Post while also catering to other distribution partnerships for micro-insurance (e.g. Microfinance Institutions, Digital Players…)
  • Being aware of market innovations to continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Sourcing and maintaining relationship with the SAWA’s third-party IT providers.
  • Recruit, retain and manage the team that will handle the end-to-end insurance cycle (underwriting, production, policy management, and claims) and beyond (IT & Call Center).
  • Lead, mentor and inspire the commercial operations functions, providing guidance and support to achieve commercial objectives and create a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends, improve processes, allocate resources efficiently, and maximize customer experience securing an easy access to insurance and services.
  • Establishing sufficient operational governance, guidelines, processes, and procedures to support regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as a lean operational set-up.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all operations.
  • Develop strategies to pursue, grow and maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners (i.e. Egypt Post & Microfinance institution).
