Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the company’s financial health and sustainability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the finance team, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, developing budgets, and implementing effective internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all plant accounting operations, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed asset accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial report (MIS, Hyperion reporting) .
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
• Demonstrates deep expertise in cost accounting and product costing, with a proven track record of driving cost optimization and margin improvement in a complex manufacturing environment, preferably in the cement or heavy industry sector.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS financial regulations
• Evaluate and monitor CAPEX proposals, ensuring alignment with financial goals and return on investment targets.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
• Monitor and manage company cash flow, investments, and risk management
• Supervise and manage plant finance staff.
• Support the plant team with financial analysis and special projects.
• Has a strong understanding of industrial background and preferably cement.
