This involves proactive market research, negotiation, and strategy development to ensure successful placement and visibility of products in the modern trade landscape.
Responsibilities:
-Market Research & Analysis:
Identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the modern trade sector.
-Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key Accounts & Large Groceries, including buyers and category managers.
-Negotiation & Business Development:
Negotiate pricing, promotional terms, and shelf space for products, securing listings and optimizing placement.
-Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies, including promotional plans, product placement strategies, and joint business plans.
-Merchandising & Promotion:
Collaborate with retailers to ensure optimal merchandising and promotional activities, maximizing product visibility and sales.
-Reporting & Analysis:
Track sales performance, monitor market trends, and provide reports to management on sales data, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
-Customer Service:
Provide high-quality customer service to retailers, addressing their needs and resolving issues effectively.
-New Product Introductions:
Assist in the launch of new products, ensuring successful listing and visibility within the modern trade channel.
-Distribution & Supply Chain:
Work with the supply chain team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to retailers.
