The Process Engineer should ensure that the manufacturing processes are made in the easiest way with the highest quality and lowest cost; and to customize the product and the process to achieve higher customer satisfaction.
• Collect record, transcribe data and prepare samples for study.
• Research and Specify the required tools, equipment and other facilities to achieve productivity, quality, and ergonomics.
• Design & manufacture the needed material racks, carriages & other required facilities.
• Ensure project tasks are finished accurately on time (design layouts, adapts OEM production process to be suitable for plant production lines, man power training and time study).
• Provide suggestion during incident investigations.
• Provide training and guidance to operation labors.
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
• Calculate process cycle time & evaluate to improve processes distribution on production lines to match the required production rates, quality standards, cost with relative to man power by using lean and six-sigma knowledge.
• Improve quality and cost by continues maintenance and calibration for jigs.
• Issue engineering changes to all cross functional teams.
