Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Engineer with over a year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and prototyping using advanced 3D printers and CNC laser cutting machines. Additionally, excellent skills in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 software, and a solid understanding of embedded circuits and programming are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop prototypes using advanced 3D printers and CNC laser cutting machines.

Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks or Fusion 360 software.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.

Conduct research and development to innovate and improve product designs and manufacturing processes.

Integrate embedded circuits into product designs and program microcontrollers as needed.

Perform testing and validation of prototypes to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.

Document design processes, test results, and project progress.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in prototyping technologies, materials, and manufacturing techniques.

Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues promptly. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and development processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in prototyping, or a similar role.

Proficient in using SolidWorks or Fusion 360 for 3D modeling and design.

Hands-on experience with 3D printing technology and CNC laser cutting machines. Strong understanding of embedded circuits and programming (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi). 
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in design and manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other CAD software and simulation tools. Knowledge of materials science and engineering principles. Previous experience in a manufacturing or product development environment and prototyping. Understanding of IoT systems and applications.
