Electrical Cost Control

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems (LV, MV, HV), equipment, and installations.

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine scope and costing.

Develop and maintain cost control systems, including budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.

Review contractor and supplier quotations for accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness.

Track project expenditures and compare with baseline budgets.

Support project managers and engineers with financial and cost-related advice.

Conduct risk and contingency analysis for electrical cost elements.

Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising on quality.

Prepare and present cost reports and progress updates to stakeholders.

Collaborate with procurement and planning teams to align on timelines and budget constraints.


Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Cost Engineering, or related field.4+ years of relevant experience in cost engineering, preferably in the electrical or construction sector.Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and installations.Proficient in cost estimating software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Primavera P6, MS Excel).Familiarity with international and local codes and standards.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Certification from AACE (e.g., CCP - Certified Cost Professional) is a plus.
