- Develop and implement RAMS plans and objectives for specific subsystems, overseeing the reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses to optimize system performance and minimize downtime.
- Produce the technical documentation (according to contractual standards: EN 50 126,…) related to:
- RAM: RAM Allocation report, FMECA, RAM report, SPAR Mgt plan & Analysis report, RAM demonstration plan & report, Exported Requirement to Maintenance, RAM Tracking tools and Record (during warranty Phase)
- Safety: SHA, IHA, FMECA, SCIL, O&SHA, FTA, Hazard logs & reports, Safety cases
- Perform the project RAM and Safety activities compliant with the QCD work packages commitments
- Lead the safety integrity level (SIL) determination process for safety-critical subsystems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct fault tree analysis, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability modeling to identify potential failure modes and their impact on subsystem performance.
- To ensure the adequacy of the RAMS deliverables fosters their acceptance by the Customer within the limit of Colas Rail commitments and for Safety ones by the Independent parties (ISA,…)
- To know and manage the principal RAMS European and international standards applicable to rail sector.
- To define and transfer in a timely manner the necessary safety requirement to put under control the relevant railway safety risks and follow them until closure (Safety Related Item List/Hazard Log)
- To support the other stakeholders (design, validation, maintenance etc..) in the definition of appropriate measures to meet the safety and reliability actions and to follow their closure through appropriate documented evidence
- To consolidate the RAMS contribution from other entities
- To perform and participate to the safety, RAM and design reviews in accordance with project schedule
- Collaborate with system engineers and project teams to ensure that RAMS requirements are integrated into the subsystem design, development, and verification processes.
- Participate in safety reviews, hazard analysis, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety risks associated with subsystem operations.
