This position for OPSBA - Oil Products Saving & Blending Alexandria
Maintenance Operations
- Execute preventive and periodic maintenance plans based on equipment manuals and manufacturer recommendations.
- Update the maintenance database, software records, and backup follow-up sheets.
- Generate daily maintenance job orders via maintenance software and follow-up spreadsheets.
- Issue work permits for maintenance tasks in coordination with the HSEQ department.
- Advise on optimal operating conditions to ensure equipment longevity and performance.
- Oversee spare parts replenishment plans and identify alternative operating systems to enhance plant reliability.
- Coordinate maintenance scheduling with the production team to maximize plant availability.
- Manage outsourcing of maintenance services, including provider contracting and operational oversight.
Project & Equipment Integration
- Contribute to the study and initiation of new projects and equipment supply to ensure mechanical-electrical compatibility and maintenance feasibility.
- Participate in launching operating procedures to guarantee correct equipment functionality.
Energy Management
- Monitor energy consumption and compare it against best practice guidelines.
- Conduct site inspections and energy surveys; collect and maintain energy monitoring data.
- Assist in developing and implementing energy reduction strategies and report energy performance to the Energy Manager.
- Support the identification of opportunities to optimize energy usage in technical systems.
- Help in setting energy objectives and targets based on strategic action plans.
Compliance & Ethics
- Apply Anti-Corruption, Antitrust Compliance, and Integrity Policies and Programs.
- Carry out necessary due diligence processes within the scope of responsibilities.
- Uphold TOTAL's ethical code of conduct and core values.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and the 12 Golden Rules.
- Maintain basic knowledge of HSE issues; ensure safe practices even when exposed to minimal risks.
Training & Documentation
- Implement training plans and maintain accurate training records.
- Keeping the equipments available for operation with minimum loss of hours requires high efforts to plan maintenance schedules in coordination with production team to utilize off hours for each equipment and machine.
- Reaching the targeted level of the plant reliability while consider minimizing the budget is an outstanding challenge.
University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.Strong organizational skills with a keen sense of observation, analysis, and synthesis.Proactive, adaptable, and open to collaboration with cross-functional teams.Demonstrates a high level of responsibility, self-motivation, and effective maneuvering skills.Fluent in English; HSEQ qualifications are essential.Excellent planning and analytical skills.Ability to identify and report risky situations related to operations and communicate with relevant departments (HSEQ, Operations).Candidates should be from Alexandria.
