Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and drive revenue growth across assigned markets. The Airline Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, managing key client relationships, leading a high-performing sales team, and identifying new business opportunities to strengthen the airline’s market position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.
• Manage and grow relationships with key accounts including corporate clients, travel agencies, TMCs, and distribution partners.
• Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team performance goals.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales planning and decision-making.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, incentive programs, and partnerships in line with corporate guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, revenue management, and network planning teams to optimize route performance and promotional activity.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports, forecasts, and insights to senior leadership.
• Represent the airline at industry events, conferences, trade fairs, and client meetings to promote the brand and strengthen partnerships.
• Ensure exceptional service standards and client satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in airline or travel industry sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. • Strong understanding of airline distribution channels, GDS platforms, and corporate travel dynamics. • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and managing large teams or key markets.
