- Customs Data Entry & Platform Management:
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry of shipment information (draft), the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) system, and the company system.
- Maintain and update the company database by entering new and updated customer and account information into the program.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all platforms.
- Customs Declaration Processing:
- Print the customs declaration accurately after the completion of shipping procedures.
- Submit advance notification to the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) promptly after printing the customs declaration.
- Track the status of shipments on the FDA system after printing the customs declaration.
- Shipment Monitoring & Invoice Management:
- Review shipment arrival dates proactively.
- Ensure that invoices are updated and accurate prior to the arrival of shipments.
- Data Verification & Quality Assurance:
- Verify and review all entered data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all relevant documents and systems.
- Identify and resolve any data entry errors or discrepancies.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Create reports from entered data as required by the team and management.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding data entry needs, issues, and the status of shipments.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure the timely dispatch of the customs declaration to the customer.
- Shipment Status Updates:
- Perform all operational entries in the Shipment Status Update system in a timely manner.
- Ensure that every task and shipping milestone is accurately recorded in the system.
- Interdepartmental Support:
- Provide necessary data entry and processing support to other departments within the organization as needed.
- Compliance & Procedures:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to data entry and customs processing.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional vocational training or certification in data entry, administration, or logistics is a plus.Experience: Proven experience in data entry, preferably within a logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage environment. Experience working with customs-related platforms like Fasah, Nafidha , or FDA systems is highly advantageous.Technical Skills:Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and speed.Proficient in using computer systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).Familiarity with customs management softwareAbility to quickly learn and navigate new software platforms.Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Communication Skills: V.Good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and basic English.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve basic data entry and processing issues.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.Compliance Awareness: Understanding of the importance of accurate data entry and compliance in customs procedures.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with Egyptian customs procedures and documentation requirements.Experience working directly with the Fasah, Nafidha and FDA platforms
