Equity Trader / Account Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Equity Trader who will also serve as an Account Manager. In this dual role, the candidate will be responsible for executing equity trades on behalf of clients, providing timely market insights, and managing client portfolios and relationships. The ideal candidate must be skilled in both financial markets execution and client relationship management, ensuring a high standard of service, compliance, and performance.
???? Key Responsibilities:
Trading Duties:
Execute buy and sell orders for equities on local and international markets with precision and compliance.
Monitor market trends, stock movements, and economic news to make informed trading decisions.
Coordinate with research, compliance, and operations to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement.
Manage risk exposure within client portfolios and adhere to internal risk limits.
Provide technical and fundamental inputs to support client trading strategies.
Account Management Duties:
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned high-net-worth and institutional clients.
Understand clients’ investment goals, risk profiles, and trading preferences.
Provide regular portfolio updates, market commentary, and personalized investment ideas.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive retention and growth.
Ensure that all KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements are met for each client.
Cross-sell the firm's products and services, including margin accounts and structured products.
✅ Job Requirements:Education & Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.Capital Market certification or trading license (as per local regulations) is preferred.Experience:2–5 years of experience in equity trading, client relationship management, or brokerage.Prior experience with retail or institutional clients is a plus.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of equity markets, order types, and trading platforms (e.g., Mist, BIMS , OMS, Bloomberg, or similar).Proficiency in Excel, market analytics tools, and CRM systems.Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FRA regulations for Egypt).Soft Skills:Strong communication and client-servicing skills.Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.Sales-driven mindset with strong ethics and integrity.Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
