Key Accountabilities:
Planning & Scheduling:
- Oversees the projects controls for engineering and construction projects.
- Manages projects' planning, scheduling, cost estimating, monitoring and quality review.
- Evaluates projects labor cost, and manpower requirements against budget constraints.
- Provides support to track project progress and performs analysis of bottlenecks, trends and critical path.
- Advises and consults on the application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, etc.).
- Identifies and communicates project risks and develops mitigation plans.
- Prepares project status presentations, highlighting key accomplishments, risks and changes.
- Ensures the Project controls team produce weekly / monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
Monitoring:
- Monitors and controls program compliance in respect of the projects contractual obligations.
- Developing revised schedule in case of change orders.
Cost Control:
- Manages complete financial cycle such as vendor purchase orders, client, cost proposals and invoices.
- Review of issued purchase orders to assigned budget.
- Periodic actual cost reports, indicating the estimate to complete and estimate at completion costs.
