Sr. Mechanical Sales Engineer

Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Identify and target new market opportunities and segments.
• Create sales plans and forecasts to drive revenue growth.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.


Account Management:
• Manage and expand relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.


New Business Development:
• Conduct research to identify potential customers and their needs.
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close new business deals.


Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Provide guidance and support to junior sales team members.
• Collaborate with different departments (marketing, product, finance) to align sales efforts.
• Conduct sales training sessions to enhance the skills of team members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative sales culture.


Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:
• Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports for management.
• Evaluate individual and team performance against sales targets.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, with•  3 – 5 years of extensive experience in a technical sales role, preferably in a B2B environment.• Strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the product or solution being sold.• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers at a senior level.• Ability to lead and mentor a team of sales engineers.• Experience in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.• Strong negotiation and closing skills.• Ability to understand complex customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.• Proficiency in sales tools, CRM systems, and other relevant software.
