Technical Project Manager (TPM)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and optimize team utilization to ensure balanced workloads.
  • Track team productivity and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Evaluate developer performance based on task completion and utilization.
  • Create and manage tasks in Jira (or other project management tools).
  • Work with developers to define clear, actionable tasks.
  • Ensure backlog grooming and sprint planning are up to date.
  • Collaborate with developers and team leads to estimate task durations.
  • Ensure estimations are realistic and aligned with project timelines.
  • Track progress and adjust estimations as needed.
  • Monitor developer workload and provide utilization reports.
  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest efficiency improvements.
  • Work with management to optimize team performance.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including technical specs, workflows, and best practices.
  • Ensure all stakeholders have clear documentation on project progress.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between development teams, product owners, and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams

Qualifications & SkillsEducation:-    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.-    Certifications: PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or equivalent.Experience-   3-7 years in technical project management, software development, or a related field.-   Industry Experience: IT, SaaS, or software development projects
