Purpose of the Role: to ensure that veterinary services across Brooke Egypt meet high-quality standards in animal care, treatment procedures, and hospital maintenance. This role focuses on assessing veterinary practices, mentoring staff, and recommending improvements to enhance service delivery.
The VTA will be responsible of the following areas:
- Veterinary Audits and Quality Assessment
- Collaboration with Key Veterinary Roles
- Support Capacity Building initiatives
- Compliance and Best Practices
- Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Participate in the Budget planning, phasing, forecasting, and monitoring to support the audit strategy of Brooke Egypt
Essential:Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Medicine (or a related scientific discipline.).Minimum of 10 years of veterinary practice, preferably with experience in equine care.Strong observational and analytical skills to assess treatments and hospital conditions.Excellent communication and mentorship abilities.Ability to collaborate with senior vets while maintaining an objective audit role.Ability to travel for field visits across Egypt.Affinity with the charitable goal of Brooke Egypt and animal welfare.Desirable:Experience in training, coaching, or quality control in veterinary services.Familiarity with hospital management, infection control, or veterinary protocols.Additional Skills:Deep understanding of veterinary medicine, animal health, and related technical procedures.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Ability to interpret and apply regulations and technical standards.Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.Experience in data analysis, report writing, and technical documentation.Proficiency in veterinary technologies and equipment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
