As a Technical Office Electrical Installation & Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the installation, commissioning, and optimization of electrical and control systems for water and wastewater treatment plants. You will ensure that all systems are installed according to design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements, while also providing technical support and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning:
Prepare and review electrical and control system designs, drawings, and documentation.
Develop control system strategies to optimize plant performance.
Collaborate with the technical office and engineering teams to deliver customized solutions.
Installation & Commissioning:
Oversee the installation of electrical and control systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Coordination & Collaboration:
Coordinate with site teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth installation processes.
Work closely with the projects and quality teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built drawings, manuals, and reports.
Ensure all documentation adheres to company and industry standards.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all installations comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures during installation.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in electrical installation and control systems, preferably in water and wastewater treatment or related industries.Skills:Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical) and control system tools (e.g., PLC programming, SCADA).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of HSE standards and regulations.Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
