Events Coordinator

  1. Event Management (Primary Focus):
    • Develop detailed plans for on-ground and virtual events, including fundraising drives, donor engagement events, and community awareness campaigns.
    • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, such as venue selection, vendor coordination, contract negotiations, permits, transportation, and technical requirements.
    • Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while delivering high-quality experiences.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, volunteers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
    • Ensure all events adhere to Mersal Foundation’s policies, branding guidelines, and mission.
    • Develop contingency plans and troubleshoot any issues that arise during event planning or execution.
    • Prepare post-event reports to assess impact, highlight achievements, and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Campaign Activation:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise and execute activation strategies for Mersal’s campaigns.
    • Align campaigns with organisational goals, ensuring they resonate with the target audience and drive engagement.
    • Develop promotional plans for events and campaigns, leveraging both traditional and digital channels.
    • Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights for future improvements.
  3. Partnerships and Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, vendors, and community partners involved in events.
    • Identify opportunities to collaborate with corporate partners and other NGOs for joint events or campaigns.
  4. Team Coordination:
    • Act as the focal point for all event-related activities, providing clear direction and updates to relevant teams.
    • Supervise the efforts of volunteers and staff assigned to campaigns or events.
  5. Innovation and Creativity:
    • Stay informed about trends in event management and nonprofit campaign strategies, integrating innovative ideas to enhance Mersal’s impact.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in campaign activation, event management, or a similar role, preferably in the nonprofit or health sector.Proven track record of successful campaign and event execution with measurable outcomes.Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, event management platforms, and data analytics.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Arabic.
