The Freight specialist responsible to execute all group company’s shipping requests to achieve the BU needs in proper time with proper costs.
- Day-to-day operations, responsible for supporting all import and export activities.
- Handling operations, daily follow up with Carrier/Agents for shipments arrival date.
- Follow up shipping instructions and coordinate shipments with Customers.
- Prepare shipping instructions and coordinate shipments with shipping lines.
- Send arrival notice to customers.
- Coordinates with customs business unit (CBU) team and the customer the needed documents for clearance scope
- Identifies with the customer the best stuffing date based on vessel cut off dates & cargo readiness
- Ensures freight is linked/booked with an appropriate departure in order to meet cargo readiness date
- Handling the inbound shipments (FCL, LCL, Air, RORO vessels and so on).
- Archive the shipping docs
Educational Requirements: Bachelor degree in Logistics, business administration or commerce.Required Industry Experience: 1-3 years of experienceTechnological Requirements: • Knowledge of Shipping lines & Forwarders• Knowledge of International freight rates and ports regulations• Knowledge of Transit time for shipping and routings, Inco Terms, Payment Terms"Language Requirements: Good English Reading and Writing
