Scrum Master

Role:- Scrum Master will act as the guardian for the scrum team, responsible for the release/sprint planning of the project, defining the release process and coordinating all the activities required according to the current implemented process. 
 

Activities include but not limited to:
 

  • Guiding the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers and Ensure agile practices are adhered to.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure the implementation of the company processes
  • Facilitate and manage road mapping, sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team.
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
  • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, conflict resolution, and Ensure cross-team coordination.
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency with all concerned teams
  • Supporting the Product Owner, to define the vision and ensure the team is on the right track and maintaining the product backlog.

Job Requirements2-4 years of experience in a scrum master role.Familiarity with software development.Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).Knowledge of CMMI is a plusDegree in Computer Science, information system, or a related field.Scrum Master certification is a plus.Experience with successful Agile techniques.Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum.Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not.Competencies and personal capabilities:-Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum.Ability to work with and lead a team.Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skillsAbility to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict.
