We are seeking an experienced Warehousing Manager to establish and manage our warehouse operations from the ground up. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of ERP systems, cost control measures, and team management. They will be responsible for designing warehouse processes, optimizing storage, ensuring compliance, and leading a high-performing team.

• Design and implement warehouse layout, and workflow processes for maximum efficiency.

• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management.

• Maintain accurate stock levels through proper inventory planning and cycle counting. 

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in stock records and physical inventory

•Develop and monitor warehouse budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness in operations. 

•Identify areas for cost reduction in storage, logistics, and labor.

• Ensure an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational and customer demand.

• Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

•  Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity plan & requirements.

•Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods in and goods out including labeling of all stock items.

• Continuously review ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as delivering continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards and that risk assessments are carried out.

• Ensure that vehicles, machinery, and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose.

• Coach, manage and develop warehouse staff and team leaders to optimize performance and meet targets and deadlines.

• Input and hold responsibility for Warehouse budgets.

• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Warehousing activities
