General Job Objective:
Supervise production operations within the factory to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and quality, improve productivity, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with safety and food quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Production Management:
- Monitor production processes and ensure planned production targets are met.
- Supervise the operation of production lines to ensure efficiency and continuity.
- Improve workflow within the factory to achieve maximum productivity at the lowest cost.
Process Improvement and Efficiency:
- Analyze production processes and propose solutions to improve performance and reduce raw material waste.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Work on enhancing equipment efficiency and optimizing energy consumption.
Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards such as ISO 22000 and HACCP during manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with the quality team to ensure that products meet specifications.
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP) in production processes.
Workforce Management:
- Supervise workers and supervisors in the factory, guiding them to achieve production goals.
- Train production teams on effective work methods and quality and safety standards.
- Contribute to creating a positive work environment and fostering teamwork.
Maintenance and Coordination with Other Departments:
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure continuous machine operation and minimize breakdowns.
- Work with the planning department to ensure the availability of raw materials and meet production schedules.
- Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure the selection of appropriate materials and equipment for production.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on production performance and challenges faced.
- Analyze production data and propose continuous improvement solutions.
- Provide recommendations to management for strategic decision-making based on actual performance.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in production, preferably in the food industry.Strong knowledge of production systems and process optimization.Ability to apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Familiarity with food safety and quality standards (ISO 22000, HACCP).Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems and make decisions.Teamwork skills and the ability to motivate workers to achieve goals.Proficiency in using production planning and data analysis software.Skills and Personal Abilities:Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Effective communication skills and leadership capabilities.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
