Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hydraulic and wet utilities systems, including water supply, sewage, seawater, and drainage systems for various infrastructure and building projects
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and drawings for utility networks, ensuring compliance with local and international standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate wet utility systems into overall project designs.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and identify potential issues.
- Provide technical support and coordination with clients, contractors, and project teams throughout the design and construction phases.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet required quality and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering design processes and standards.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field).5–7 years of professional experience in the design and implementation of hydraulic and wet utilities systems, preferably in an engineering consultancy environment.Strong technical expertise in the design of water supply, sewage, stormwater, and drainage systems.in-depth knowledge of relevant design codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Egyptian Standards, international standards like ASCE, AWWA, etc.).Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., Bentley WaterCAD, SewerCAD, EPANET).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams.Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of environmental considerations and sustainability practices in utility design is a plus.
