- Meets with clients after their initial meeting with the sales to understand the client’s technical needs and requests
- Receives Tenders and finds technical specifications to develop into a technical and financial offer
- Does the site survey for all potential projects to ensure that the offers presented are a match to the client’s requirements and project site
- Sends the offer to supervisor for final approval
- Builds relationship with selected distributers
- Negotiates with selected distributers to get the best prices for the presented offers
- Presents the technical offer to the client when needed
- Attends weekly meetings with supervisor to present and discuss progress of the assigned projects
- Attends quarterly meeting with Sales Department to discuss and evaluate the departments results, reached objectives and strategy
- Studies new technologies offered by new partners and vendors
- Attends courses, seminars, reads online to increase his/her technical knowledge regularly
- Regularly follows up with sales on presented proposals and offers when required
B.Sc. in Communication Engineering3-5 years of experience as a Pre Sales Engineer with hands on experienceMinimum CCNA Certification (or equivalent industry certification).Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).Certification in installation from at least one partnered vendor, in the assigned technology, is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.Experience in reviewing CAD drawing and provide inputs Experience in bid management, attending pre/post tender meetings, solution presentationsExperience in presenting the designed solution, architecture in post tender meetings and solution Experience in designing Structured Cabling.Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills Ability to get leadsClient Retention Expertise with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.Excellent presentation and reporting skillsPositive response to pressureAbility to negotiate prices Excellent research skills
