The Associate Dean for Research and Impact (ADRI) will:
- Develop and implement the school's research strategy, aligning it with our overall mission and vision.
- Cultivate a culture of research excellence, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and interdisciplinary approaches.
- Support faculty in securing research funding, developing competitive grant proposals, and achieving high-impact publications.
- Develop strategies to maximize the societal impact of our research, through knowledge transfer, public engagement, and partnerships with industry, government, and civil society.
- Manage research centers, ethical review processes, and research support services, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Serve as a key ambassador for research, building relationships with external stakeholders and promoting the university's research profile.
- Provide guidance and support to faculty at all stages of their research careers and support their professional development.
- Ensure that research activities reflect our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree from an accredited university in a discipline relevant to ESLSCA's academic offerings.A rank of full professor in a business related discipline (high profile Associate Professors with academic management experience and good publication record may be considered)A good record of research and scholarship, demonstrated by a publication record in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.Proven leadership experience in an academic setting, ideally with experience in research administration or leadership.A demonstrated ability to secure external research funding.A commitment to create a collaborative and inclusive research environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.Professional-level English proficiency (spoken and written). International experience (research collaborations, study abroad, or international work experience) is a plus.
