Job Summary:

The Financial Planning & Analysis will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance and strategic decision-making across all three companies within the group. This position will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and providing insights to management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for driving business improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budget process, rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic planning. Collaborate with various departments to gather input and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze financial performance across all Through group companies, including revenue, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, and profitability. Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare insightful reports and presentations for management.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track business performance. Provide regular reporting and analysis to management, highlighting key trends and areas of focus.
  • Partner with business leaders across the Through group companies to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Collaborate on strategic initiatives, new product launches, and other key projects.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support various analyses, including scenario planning, investment appraisal, and valuation.
  • Investigate and explain variances between actual results and budget/forecast. Provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Work with operational teams to implement cost-saving measures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes and systems. Contribute to the implementation of new technologies and best practices.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned, such as mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and financial system implementations.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, or a related field. Experience in a multi-company environment or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and planning software is a plus.
