Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, usability, and overall quality of our software products by designing, executing, and reporting on various testing processes. You will collaborate closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Experience with Azure DevOps and test automation tools will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review software requirements and specifications to create comprehensive and effective test scenarios that cover all aspects of the product.
- Execute tests to evaluate software usability, functionality, and performance, ensuring that all requirements are met.
- Analyze test results, identify database impacts, and report errors, bugs, and any usability issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on testing activities, providing clear feedback to the development and design teams for improvements.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases that validate functionality, data integrity, security, and overall product usability.
- Track, document, and prioritize defects, ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to continuously improve software quality and optimize the testing process.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new testing tools and technologies, contributing to the evolution of the team’s testing strategies.
Job Requirements:A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design, and techniques.Experience working with various testing tools and understanding compatibility with multiple software environments.Working knowledge of programming and an ability to understand code in order to support testing efforts.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on thorough analysis and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to clearly document issues and effectively interact with cross-functional teams.Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a keen focus on quality.Proficiency with Azure DevOps is essential for managing the testing lifecycle and tracking defects.Experience with test automation tools is highly desirable and a significant advantage.
