IT Infrastructure Section Head

IT Infrastructure & Budget Management:

  • Manage the annual budget for IT infrastructure operations, including systems, services, vendors, and IT staffing.
  • Oversee maintenance, design, development, and analysis priorities for the entire IT infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, internet, security, and wireless implementations.
  • Monitor and optimize network infrastructure performance and security by suggesting necessary adjustments and upgrades.

IT Services Management & Development:

  • Architect and manage IT infrastructure services, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM-ERP, business intelligence, and cloud solutions, while ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Develop and implement technical initiatives to design, build, and deploy cloud services as per lead architects’ directives.
  • Implement and configure PaaS technologies with various cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Digital Ocean).
  • Monitor system performance and capacity to ensure high availability and stability of IT services and infrastructure.

Migration, Upgrades & Business Continuity Planning:

  • Plan and execute migration, upgrade, and deployment activities, including necessary system integrations.
  • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery (DR) plans annually, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with business continuity objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, track timelines, and maintain effective communication with end users to ensure business requirements are met.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Supervise and lead an IT infrastructure team, ensuring the efficient execution of daily tasks and strategic projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors, business partners, and IT teams to diagnose issues and provide effective resolutions.
  • Communicate IT architecture, technologies, and best practices to technical staff.

Technical Support & Network Analysis:

  • Conduct site surveys to document, design, and upgrade network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, hosted servers, firewalls, VPNs, and related appliances.
  • Manage automated information system software and applications, including monitoring, administration, and optimization of related tools and interfaces.

Experience from 5 to 7 YearsBachelor's degree in computers/Electronics Engineering or Computer ScienceExcellent understanding with strong hands-on experience of different servers’ technologies & operating systems, networks, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWARE), firewalls (Fort iGATE), cyber security, Office 356, Disaster recovery and HA, cloud services and load balancers, Access control etc.In depth ITIL Knowledge5 years of appropriate experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery, preferably with a large size organizationHands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.Hands-on experience with Cloud servers' implementations and administration with solid skills in cPanel & WHM Features.Solid networking knowledge (CCNA, CCNP, MCSA)Hands-on experience with Backup systems (Veeam backup and replication) with proven abilities of deploying DR plan and HAA very strong customer orientated approach with an outstanding delivery recordAbility to work independently
